Although non-belligerent, Greece will never sue for peace with anyone who declared war on it. Greece is the most problematic part of Southern Europe for Germany, because it is rather mercurial (reflecting the conflict between the English and German factions in Greece), and will offer occupation rights only to those who can grant it Nicosia and the Marmara Coast — which are occupied by Britain and Turkey. It will generally accept alliances with the player as long a the player does not have access to the Mediterranean. For the Axis and the British, this could be a problem since Nicosia and the Marmara are required by both Britain and Italy to win — and major AI powers never trade land away.

Greece enjoys an alliance with Romania.

If Axis forces capture the capital of mainland Greece (Epirus), the rest of the nation are immediately overrun by the British if they are still alive.

Stormfronts campaignEdit

The Stormfronts campaign goes smack into the midst of the Greek-Turkish war of 1919-1922, with Greece and Turkey at an impasse and the Bosporus region of Istanbul devastated. The Greeks must move their armies into the Bosporus region, then go for Ankara. If Turkey retakes the Bosporus and holds it for 3 turns, the Treaty of Lausanne is triggered, forcing Greece and Turkey into peace, and reinstating the borders. If Turkey is defeated, it will instantly become a one-territory vassal of the League of Nations or the Soviets. and its eastern territories seized by France. Naturally, the Greeks will get to keep the Hellespont but can also have an option to continue further.
